My role:
In 2022, I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project for the UK retailer Next in their Innovation team. The project involved testing the concept of a chatbot that could be used to inspire customers and help them make quicker and better choices while shopping online.
To kick off the project, I conducted a series of workshops to gain a better understanding of the challenges, goals, and needs of the project. I utilized the Design Sprint process, which allowed us to identify key problems, generate ideas, and quickly create a prototype for testing.
After creating the prototype, I conducted user testing to gain insights into how customers interacted with the chatbot and how it could be improved. Using the feedback, I made iterations to the design and ran a second round of testing.
The testing provided us with valuable insights that helped us understand our users better and reframe the problem.
